Dr. Justiz received his Bachelors and Masters of Science with Honors in Health Education (Exercise Physiology) from Florida international University in Miami.  He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.  Completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. Continued his studies in Pain Management completing his fellowship at the world-renowned Texas Tech University, considered the top pain management programs in the country.


He held titles of Assistant & Associate professor at Texas Tech University and Oklahoma University HSC where he trained over 29 pain physicians and taught hundreds of residents. During his time, he received multiple awards including Faculty of the Year in both Anesthesia and Pain Management, and the Chancellor Letter of Commendation for Research and Teaching award.


Dr. Justiz is Quadruple Boarded Physician, certifications by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesia and Subspecialty in Pain management, American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians, Fellow of World Institute of pain, and certification by the American college of sports medicine.


Dr. Justiz has been elected and served as president Oklahoma Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, Oklahoma Pain Society, regional vice-chair for the World Institute of Pain for the United States, and board of directors of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.  


He has served as a consultant for Abbott, Medtronic, Epimed International. He shares his expert knowledge on topics of pain management and treatments and frequently teaches and presents at research conferences and universities.  He is published in numerous medical journals, books and in active in research specializing in areas to advance the field of pain management.

Dr. Justiz received her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Florida international University in Miami. She attended the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee where she received her degree in Doctor of Medicine and completed her residency in Anesthesiology at the University of South Florida in Tampa. 

She was appointed Associate professor at Texas Tech University and Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center in the department of Anesthesiology.  During her time in academics Dr Justiz has trained many physicians and was awarded Faculty of the Year in Anesthesiology.  She then transitioned from Anesthesiology to Pain management after doing a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management.  

She brings over 20 years of expertise in Anesthesiology and Pain management to the team at Oklahoma Pain Physicians. Treating patients in the Oklahoma City and Norman community. She holds multiple holds medical licenses in the states of Oklahoma, Texas, and Florida, and is board-certified in Anesthesiology from the American Board of Anesthesiology.

​Dr. Justiz is passionate about communicating clearly with patients, with thorough examinations and explanations of potential treatments. Her specialty in pain management allows her to always be at the forefront of the latest minimally invasive procedures. Her experience in Anesthesiology assures patients the most pain-free journey with any treatment option.
